Introducing the Animal Badges Applique and Embroidery Pattern!

I am so excited to share with you a new pattern for applique and embroidery that I designed: Animal Badges! It’s ten different animals, each enclosed in a circle, like so:
Which animals? I’m so glad you asked.
★ Cat
★ Dog
★ Rabbit
★ Chicken
★ Duck
★ Pig
★ Butterfly
★ Owl
★ Lamb
★ Skunk (Why skunk? I don’t know! But I think he’s the cutest of the bunch.)

As you’ve probably guessed by now, I am a huge fan of fusible applique. Thus, I specifically designed this pattern for fusible applique and hand embroidery. It’s easy! It’s fun! And it’s about a million times faster than traditional applique!
(Of course, you could still use your favorite applique techniques with {most of} them, but you might have to scale them up.)
The circles measure 3″ (7.6 cm) across, so the animals inside are just a wee bit smaller than that.

I think these patterns are a perfect personalizing touch for a number of projects: quilts, onesies, pillowcase edges, kid’s clothes and accessories, or anywhere that needs a cuteness boost.

In fact, I’ve got a few posts up my sleeves with fun projects designed just for this pattern.
